A Kiss In Time by Alex Flinn.
I started this hoping that I would like it as much as I liked Beastly, and thank goodness, I did. I’m loving Flinn’s modern rendition of the well-known fairy-tales. Though I never really liked Sleeping Beauty (I’ve only ever known Disney’s), I did like the way Flinn told it.
When it started off with Talia being a brat, I thought “oh no, here we go again…”, but she thankfully didn’t stay that was for very long at all, and it didn’t take long for me to warm up to her. Which I feel is always a good thing. Amber, not so much, but I’m fairly sure you’re not supposed to. Oh well.
Great book, I definitely suggest to anyone who has already read Beastly, and to anyone who’s willing to try.
